Outdoor Learning

Nettles sting, the stream is cold in winter and leaves on the ground can be slippery! Forest School is an integral part of our Outdoor Learning where children experience a traditional, natural, hands-on learning environment where the senses are crucial to understanding.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

How do you build a shelter for your group?

What is the solution to an orienteering riddle?

What can we cook in the mud kitchen today?

How do you build a shelter for your group?

Which design of boat is the best?

CHILDREN PLAYING.jpg

All children receive at least one weekly timetabled lesson in Forest School and often more to support their topic, maths and science studies but sometimes they just make a lot of mess and a lot of noise and have a lot of fun!
